Name calling....

Noel has decided that we are going to get a dog. Furthermore, we will call this (poor) dog "SUCKA". Yes that is as in "sucker", except the in-da-hood version.

Apparently. she has been expressing genes that were not inherited from me, recently.

Also, I will keep this in mind when she has a child of her own and is responsible for naming it. I will have to keep a close eye on the situation....

i like this child more and more everyday ... i'm going to get a dog and name it something that ends in "-izzle" (a la snoop, you know?) ... the same thing with dog/child naming happened to a friend of my moms: her daughter adopted a cutie pie dog and proclaimed it her "child" and named it "booger" ... we're still holding our breath when her own real kid is born ... snot perhaps? i always liked that word ...

perhaps she is thinking of a lollypop and not the hood

That is so funny. Especially funny because you'd be the one out in the backyard yelling for Sucka to come home, for all the neighbours to hear.

LMAO - you gotta watchout for giving pets odd names - I inherited a dog called Vomit once... One day my friends came home from the pub before me and accidentally let him out. When I got back myself I asked where the dog was.

Needless to say I had quite a pleasant evening walking across the local park shouting "Vomit" at the top of my voice... until the cops showed up. Now just imagine Yours Truly explaining his way out of that... :)

Oh, and for the same reason, that's why the cats didn't get called Itchy & Scratchy, Adolf & Eva or anything remotely embarrassing to have shout in public. Ditto Jay :D

Wow. She's an enterprising one...D'Arcy named his rooster Ellie after a (girl) friend and wouldn't be swayed in his decision....

LMFAO!!! "izzle", huh? nugget-izzle? It may be a hard ending to find something to combine with....but then again that might be the white-girl in me talking.

SFMD:
Perhaps. But NoE's so hip, i think she's talking hood-style.

Jay:
LMAO. Ah, girl-always looking out fer me aren't 'cha? That IS true....the neighors will be thinking, "WTF?" ..... Well,Ok. I'm sure they're ALREADY thinking that about me.

Kat E:
Yeah, don't you LOVE it when someone takes over making fun of me? Then you just can kick back and watch, and get a break from the easy job of doing it yourself....*wink*

Big Ed:
LMAO. But...! Although I like you, you will not be meeting NoE when she gets older (i.e. >18 years).

Keeefer:
LMAO. It sounds like, with all that parenting wisdom, you need to make a parenting manual....*shakes head, "no gangsta rap...."

My Lever:
LMFAO! I can totally envision the scenario...you yelling VOMIT! and bringing the cops around. *shakes head* See, you get into trouble even without me around.....

Mummy/crit:
Maybe NoE could use a nice grounded boy like D'Arcy....in about 20 years *wink*

Brom-man:
LMAO!!! You? Stumped!!!? *jaw drops* I had firmly come to believe that you had a pun for every occasion...

Pooh:
That's RIGHT. To all of it. *big grin*

Mrs Mogul:
Nice. Great analogy.... :)

I have a cat. It's name is Booger. I see I wasn't original in naming my pet Booger.

I have a fish. It's name is Kevin Federline Scumbag. Scumbag for short.

Sucka is an excellent name for a dog.
